This wonderful rare Pyrex pattern features black Penn-Dutch shipping type Roosters in a garden setting with sunflowers, smaller plants and a stylized sun on an opal white Space Saver size casserole. Here is a vintage Mid-Century promotional Pyrex Rectangular Space Saver Casserole Dish with no lid, from 1958. This 2 QT. size 575-B piece measures about 6 ¾” across at the top, 11 ¾” across the handles, and 2 5/8" high. It has a semi-gloss black color printing in the retired BLACK ROOSTER design which features Pennsylvania Dutch style sunflowers, smaller plants, and stylized sun bursts.
